the day we were at home

So, what were the kids up to on their day home?

Drawing on our house front glass doors. With much coaxing from HQ, their papa gave the kids full license to draw whatever they wanted with temporary colourful marker pens, on our house front glass doors. HQ was drawing fishes, birds, dinosaurs, while QQ was swirling and scribbling. This is once in a blue moon opportunity, so they really relish this experience. And when the sun is shinning brightly (so rare these days), the kids begged to be let out to play in the pool. After their baths, they watched tv while waiting for their lunch to be served. Favourite movies at the moment – Tree Little Pigs, Peter Rabbit & Friends, and Dumbo. And of course the all time favourite – Peter Pan and Neverland. Lunch – simple chicken rice with fragrant rice (cooked with pandan leaves, stock, ginger, garlic & shallots), steamed kampong chicken and blanched taugeh. Quick and yummy :-D. Play Playdough. I really love this shark that HQ made. HQ making another shark. And baking pizza on a make-believe oven. And he baked it with “C A R E”. :-)
The 2 little rascals searched my kitchen drawer for “THEIR kitchen utensils”… Before QQ fell asleep in this position… She must be soooo tired...

little prince's mummy: Draw on the house front glass doors only... with white board temporary markers. Can be easily wiped off with a tissue, and when cleaned with wet clothe & soap, the glass doors are good as new! :-)
