kuala selangor

During the Raya break, we went to Kuala Selangor.

We went to a fishing village... That sells lots of goodies (their prawn crackers were soooo good *smack lips*) We also drove to Sekinchan located nearby, known for its padi and corn fieldsWe had our yummy lunch there At Kuala Selangor, we visited Fort Altingsburg, Bukit Melawati.

Walking towards the fort after parking our car. QQ was wearing this refashioned overalls. HQ was so amazed with the cannons! Now he can imagine better when he plays Peter Pan with QQ. The other side of the fort – this is where we saw beautiful open sky and the sea. Here’s QQ and me, with my new haircut :-P Dad and QQ. There were lots of monkeys, which attacked tourists and snatched food from them. Ferocious. But HQ simply loved them (he kept laughing at the screaming and running tourists) and wanted to catch one home to keep as a pet, a baby one, he said.
Dad : No no, you cannot catch any of them. The monkey’s father and mother will attack you to rescue their baby.
HQ : *thought for awhile* Nevermind, when we come again next time, we will bring a big net! Haha… then we can catch all of them! *grin* Keep these as pets? They look so human-like they really scare my wits off. *shivers* HQ said they look cute. What do you think?

There's nothing much at Bukit Melawati actually. The kids had fun though... got excited with the connons (and ideas on how to fire them... haha), chased around in the big open field, and of course laughing at the monkeys :-)

Mummy Gwen: Haha... "sam jiong plus plus" already lor ;-)

BoeyJoey, you have a very nice haircut. Very match to your sweet look. Beutiful!

For me, the monkeys looked very scary. HQ very brave boy, he even dare to sit so near to them.
