cameron highlands (i)

We went for a day trip to Cameron Highlands.
We started the journey at 7.30 am and we reached at 11.00 am.

Farms
First stop was the strawberry farm. The flower farm. Of course, the owner rears bees for pollination, and thus gets honey too. Kill two birds with one stone. If there’s one living creature that HQ does not fancy bringing home, it would be BEES!
Boh Tea plantation
Our next stop is the tea plantation.
Clear blue sky, rolling hills, crisp cool weather… I seriously wanted to live here. At the Boh Ummph Teashop, we had pastries, breads, sandwiches, nasi lemaks and of course Boh Tea. Milk for the kids :-).

QQ ate the whole apple pie, on top of her usual milk. HQ of course only wanted the sausage bread *shake head* While we were sipping our tea and enjoying the ambiance, an Indian man came over and approached hubby. He said that his guest from Saudi Arabia would like to take photo with QQ. *scratch head*

We do get young girls coming up to us to ask to take pictures with QQ, and QQ would pose with them cheerfully, but this is the first time we were approached by a man. *scratch head* To tell you the truth, I felt rather uncomfortable. But they look honest and harmless enough, so I nodded ok. I mean, if they want to take pictures of our gal, even if we said no, they can still snap discreetly with their big-ass DSLR. So, we just let them snap one picture of the Saudi Arabian with hubby carrying QQ.

After that, hubby snapped a picture of my kiddos and me, before we braved the tea hills... do come back and look at us after the ordeal... hahaha :-)To be continued…

reanaclaire & smallkucing: At the bees farm, there's one box (that bees used as their home/ hive... not sure what term to use... I'm hopeless in all these) with a glass front, as display. That's how we got this close-up shot :-).

Mummy Gwen: Depending on mood la... she didn;t like the Saudi Arabian guy though...

Annie Q & mommy to chumsy: Yes, it was tiring :-)

UmmiRosma & Jesse Tan: Hi, thanks for dropping by and for the nice comments! Will hop on to your blogs soon :-)
