red gold restaurant

(wah... the name so canggih one... )

Red Gold Restaurant is one of dad’s favourite breakfast place… food is good, place is airy and not too crowded, service is quick. But nothing that resembles red gold :-) Fishball noodle at RM 5.50 per bowl. Fried ingredients at RM 0.90 per piece. The stuffed fried cruller and fried siu gau were nice. Other yong tofu choices... stuffed lady fingers is my favourite :-)The kids loved these fishballs... bouncy and tasty :-) A bowl of greens to balance the meal.
Red Gold Restaurant
CG-1 & CG-2, Jalan Kasturi 5,
Taman Kasturi, Batu 11,
Cheras 43200, Selangor.
Tel: 9074 2785

If you are around this area, do try this restaurant... nothing too fancy, just good old healthy yong tofu. The map: © Lee Pei Yi. All rights reserved. Originally published for boeyjoey.blogspot.com. All images and text cannot be republished without express written permission.

Mummy Gwen: Already missing Malaysia food??? Being where you are now, better pick up the wok and start whipping them up yourself leh :-)

2ma: Go eat, go eat :-p

wenn: Yum!

Mommy Ling: It's located at shoplots behind (not facong the main road) so maybe quite difficult to find...

mNhL: I love fishballs, my kids too... so not too often, ok la!

lil' bulb: Oh, you too eat there? They have crabs too at night ya? But haven't tried yet *salivate*

coffeesncookies: I think they make their own fishballs... very bouncy and tasty. But they're very unlike how we (i mean, my mum) makes at home, bouncy too, but not so smooth.

The fishball noodle looks a bit plain for rm5.50. However, the YTF looks delicious :)

so little and cost rm5.5 per bowl… expensive la
Red is because the tauke like red color and wear red clothes.
Gold mean you come to eat… I will profit damn lot. Gold is money.
So, it is call Red Gold Restaurant.

The man wears red & the woman wears yellow-ly gold so there goes the Red Gold Restaurant!

I love yong tau foo but the noodle with RM5.50 seems rather expensive 'coz it looks quite small bowl...
