a farmosa resort

The tv has been showing advertisements on A Farmosa Resort in Melaka very frequently, and my curious HQ has been going on and on about checking that place out. I guess it's the animals and the waterpark that interest him :-).

So, hubby, the ever dotting Papa took us all one weekend. It was a few weeks ago, when the kids were well.

The first stop that we planned was the Animal Safari. However along the way, the kids spotted ponies and rides were available for kids!

HQ let QQ go first. She was smiling ear to ear from the start till the end! :-DLook at how pleased she was!
Next was HQ's turn; he kept patting the pony as he rode along. Here, he looks a bit too tall for the pony, isn't it? ;-PThe kids snapped a photo with the pony that they rode on. My little girl and me :-) When we arrived at the zoo entrance, a lady was holding an albino phyton and invited us to touch it. The lady let the phyton rest on Hubs neck, and HQ was most excited. Although he didn't want it on his neck! QQ stayed far far away. LOL! We took the tram for the safari ride. It was terribly bumpy! We saw many animals including tigers and lions out in the wild. Many of them were thin, looked dehydrated and had passed their prime. QQ spotted an old lion resting in a corner, and she exclaimed:

QQ: That lion is so poor thing isn't it? No friends, no children to play with, and no wife. After the ride, we walked around the zoo. We spotted some monkeys, and the kids wanted to feed them peanuts. After lunch at a nearby cafe, we went to the waterpark. Hubs and the kids had great fun playing with water, fountains, slides and waterfall under the blazing sun... while I sat on a beach chair under the shade, hand-stitching some brooches for this little store. It was a quiet relaxing time for me :-). We spotted a petting farm, and the kids had fun feeding rabbits and sheep carrots and long beans. HQ had no problems with the animals... As for QQ, I was quite worried that she will be knocked down by the sheep. They're acted as though they have not eaten for days! They came in a herd of more than 10 and sorround the poor child! QQ felt safer feeding the rabbits, which she loved dearly :-). I heard her talking sweet nonsense to them... very cute!!! Look at how the sheep chased HQ. In the end, HQ decided that instead of him being chased by the sheep, why not...

he chase them instead!!! LOL!!! With QQ cheering at the background, I really had a good laugh!

All in all, the kids had a great time. After the A Famosa visit, Hubs drove us to Melaka town for a dinner of satay celup (which the kids did not eat much) and later chicken rice balls. It was tiring, but the kids had great fun, especially HQ :-D.

QQ's remarks are so cute and funny haha! I've been there once during my company trip many years ago. I think this place appeals to kids more. Can see that all of you had a great time there :) You should have stayed on for the fireworks display. I think they have it every night.

Looks like it's worth a visit with the kids. Had thought about visiting but have not done so yet coz I've been hearing mixed reviews of the place.
