kiddos sports day

Back-dated post: 23rd April, Saturday

The day was sunny and bright... great for a sports day! It was cute watching the kids marching, singing and dancing as a ritual to warm up their little bodies before doing the real sports stuff.

HQ and QQ participated in 1 individual event and 2 team events respectively. From here, I noticed one big difference between them.

HQ is the sporty type. He's nimble. He's fast. And he enjoys removing his shoes and run barefooted like a carefree monkey on muddy ground. He's like his Papa, a natural sportsman :-).

For QQ, this is her first sports day.
She, on the other hand, is dainty and fussy. She cringed at the sight of slimy mud... And her moves were oh so feminine...Although my little princess tried all her might (her little brow was all knotted in concentration!), she was still one of the last to finish in the individual event. It's alright, as long as she tried her best :-).What's important is, she enjoyed herself tremendously :-). During prize giving time, she kept asking, "How come I don't get any trophy?". In the end, she did get one Silver trophy for a team event :-). Her first trophy, so proud of my little girl :-). The kids at the end of the event.
And of course, like last year, here's the makeshift toilet for the kids :-). (C) Lee Pei Yi. All rights reserved. Originally published for http://BoeyJoey.blogspot.com. All images and text can only be republished with links back to the article/ blog. Thank you :-).

That was fun! There's no sports day in Gwen's preschool.

Both of them were smiling all the way...means they truly enjoyed themselves. :)

Hi BJ, love the pics and their red and white colours.
Your boy has a future in running judging from his enthusiastic run.
