i am thankful...

:: for eventhough hubby was hospitalised many nights for dengue, his severe headache did go away. Although I was very aware of the danger of dengue, I was also relieved that the constant headache was directly related and nothing more sinister

:: for my kids who were having high fever much longer and volatile than hubby, were tested negative with dengue

:: that after trying my very best for so very long and feeling really helpless, things do get better

:: for thoughtful, helpful family and friends :-)

:: that hubby is recovering, albeit slowly

:: that the foreheads that I kiss on now are feeling warm, and not boiling

:: to be able to see humor in this article that greeted me this morning :-)

The weekend is coming, and i am really looking forward to it (one that does not involve sponging and going in and out of hospital) :-).

Do have a good weekend, and stay healthy, everyone :-)

My hubby and mil had dengue fever together 9 years ago. MIL was hospitalized but hubby not as there was no more room in the hospital. Both were pretty bad and they suffered bad bouts of headaches. After the incident, my hubby has become the mozzies' no. 1 enemy and he would not miss killing one if he ever sees it :D
