the little girl who wondered how is the world like beyond the clouds over the hills
the little girl who marveled at the beauty of rainbows, dewdrops, frogs and walking barefeet on morning grass
who's happy to be sitting on the desk for hours, painting to her heart contend
who skips and dances to the music, without a care in the world
who dreams big
who stays true to herself.
the young lady who is ridiculously optimistics
clueless about living
but happy with just how things were going.
the meek new girl who's too shy to go out to lunch with unfamiliar colleagues
writing my dreams, thoughts and ideas for all to see (and steal)
the ambitious gal not afraid of taking chances
the no-nonsense woman typing furiously on her red laptop (the only red in the sea of black in the office)
bright eyed with love and excited with what's in store
in awe with the bundle of joy i held in my arms
so afraid for my little one, and hoping to be the one who's shoudering it all
relieved to find that it's not as dark as i thought
at my happiest with my perfect little family
those were the yesteryears...
the tired woman longing for some alone time
longing for more sleep than possible
longing for a healthy happy brood (and please stay that way)
longing for stability
longing for sureness
longing for calmness...
when will the storm end?
